Hello everyone,
Sarah and I had meant to send out emails to you all (here meaning family members and friends), but that proved to be more work than we thought. There are several drafts of emails written at various times, but they were always out-dated before we got around to sending them.
I actually enjoyed my previous blog. Both writing it and looking back through the posts. And I hate writing big emails. Therefore we shall co-author this blog, and hopefully that shall result in you knowing more of the details of our lives.
To borrow from my first ever blog post:
"The first reason I've started this blog is to keep my vast collection of
relatives, and not so vast array of friends, up to date with my life in
general, without having to laboriously tap out emails and texts.
The second reason is because I'm lazy and forgetful."
Some things may never change...
As for the last six months of silence... think of it as a brief hiatus while I've sorted my life out. It has been a little bit like a ride in a washing machine, to be honest. But it seems like things might be starting to settle down, and I'm beginning to carve my own little colony in this new world.
Real news will follow in the next post. Which shall hopefully be written soon.
